About this Piece
A sculptural end table that pairs layered Baltic birch with a walnut or maple face in a reduced mid-century silhouette. The curved form hugs the side of a sofa or chair, and the two-tier open shelving keeps a book, a drink, or a small stack of objects within reach without adding visual weight. Available in 18" or 22" deep. At 24" high, the piece also works as a nightstand in a compact bedroom.
This curved end table is a study in reduction. Built by Relic Modern™ from 13-layer Baltic birch with a walnut or maple face, the layered edges are left exposed as a signature detail. The rounded form softens the corner of a room and reads light rather than heavy.
Pairs naturally with the Cocktail Table or the Coffee Table in the same room.
Finished with a hand-rubbed oil and wax blend, the piece has a warm, tactile matte look that enhances the natural grain of the walnut or maple.

Product FAQ

Real Furniture,Made by Real Hands
I build every piece by hand in my Minneapolis workshop — one maker, one standard, no shortcuts. While big-box stores fill warehouses with particle board and mass-produced templates, Relic Modern™ starts with real, high-quality wood and ends with something built to last. Some things are worth buying from a real person.
Mid-century modern isn't a trend — it's a discipline. Clean lines, reasonable proportions, and modest, organic shapes. At Relic Modern™, that means stripping every design down to its essential form and building it from high-quality Baltic birch with walnut or maple faces, finished with a hand-rubbed oil and wax blend that lets the wood speak for itself.
