Shipping, Pickup and Returns

Shipping & Delivery

Decor Shipping

(01) All decor items ship free within the United States via USPS or UPS Ground (approx. 1-5 days), unless otherwise stated, or can be picked up from my NE Minneapolis showroom.

(02) International shipping is available with additional fees—please reach out prior to placing an order.

Furniture Shipping

(01) All furniture is made-to-order, with lead times varying by item (see individual products for current estimates).

(02) Furniture ships free within the contiguous United States (allow an additional 2–3 weeks for shipping) or is delivered free within the Twin Cities Metro Area (allow an additional 1 week). Items may also be picked up from our NE Minneapolis showroom (10% discount for pickup using code PICKMEUP).

(03) International shipping is available for furniture and incurs additional fees. Please contact us prior to placing an order.

(04) Free-standing furniture is shipped with scheduled blanket wrapped inside delivery. Smaller items (end tables, coffee tables, nightstands) ship via UPS Ground.

(05) All shipped furniture is fully insured. If your package appears damaged, take detailed photos before opening and contact us immediately. We will work with the shipping partner to resolve issues, which may include repair or full replacement at no cost.

(06) Delivery within the Twin Cities Metro area includes in-home delivery to the first floor. Parking fees (meter or ramp) are the customer’s responsibility. Relic Modern™ reserves discretion on how far a piece can be brought into a home, depending on factors such as stairs and furniture weight.

(07) Completion timelines, estimates, and shipping speeds are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated.

(08) Unless otherwise stated, all furniture items are shipped fully assembled.

Local Pickup

(01) All products can be picked up from my NE Minneapolis showroom. You will receive an email when your order is ready for pickup.

(02) Pickup Discount: Take 10% off your order with code PICKMEUP. For custom orders, the discount applies to labor only; for standard collection items, the discount applies to the entire order. This discount cannot be combined with the Design Professional Discount. Discount must be requested at time of placing order. 

(03) Pickup is a great way to save on shipping, even if you rent a vehicle for transport. Pickup from the showroom can be scheduled once the item is complete.

(04) Pickup hours are Tuesday-Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 11am-2pm. See the showroom page for current hours.

Returns & Exchanges

Decor Returns

(01) Each decor item is handmade and unique. Variations in wood tone, grain, or minor imperfections are part of the character of handcrafted items. Minor defects in layers or solid wood faces may occur and are not eligible for return.

(02) Decor items are eligible for return within 5 days of receipt. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a 20% restocking fee applies. Reach out to initiate a return.

(03) Damaged items (beyond normal handcrafted variations) may qualify for an exchange. Reach outwithin 5 days of receipt with photos for consideration.

Furniture Returns

(01) All furniture is made-to-order, and sales are generally final. Returns for standard-sized collection pieces are accepted within 72 hours of receipt.

(02) Custom orders are final after the initial downpayment.

(03) Return shipping/drop-off is the customer’s responsibility, with a 10% fee deducted from the refund.

(04) Upon delivery, inspect your item immediately. Damage does not include natural wood or grain variations, minor scratches, voids, or indents. Damaged items may qualify for an exchange or partial refund.

(05) Customers are responsible for measuring spaces to ensure furniture fits; Relic Modern™ cannot accept returns for sizing issues. Reach out before ordering if you need help confirming measurements.

(06) Items not properly cared for (humidity, sun, water damage, etc.) are not eligible for returns. See Furniture Care below for proper maintenance.

Discontinued, Discounted, As-Is, and Outlet Items

(01) All sales of discounted, discontinued, and outlet items are final. Outlet items may have imperfections.

Customized Pieces/Custom Orders

(01 Every custom or made-to-order item is handcrafted specifically for you. Due to the personalized nature, all sales are final upon downpayment. Returns or refunds are not permissible. Learn more aboutcustom builds.
